From October 3rd to the 4th 2018, the city of Strasbourg welcomes the trade fair CYCL’EAU. It will open its gates for 2 days in the center of the rhin-meuse hydrographic basin for launching the discussion and exchange about water management. In the international context of France, Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg, the rhin-meuse basin has the distinctiveness to supply 20 millions with potable water. This fact makes it indispensable to participate in the challenge of finding solutions to guarantee the sustainability of these resources. Some of the main topics of the CYCL’EAU trade fair are the reduction of water pollution, provoked through industrial and municipal sewage, the battle against dangerous micro particles, the flood risk management, as well as the impact of the climate change.

The trade fair CYCL’EAU Strasbourg provides a platform to tackle these topics and to put in relation public regional – with private regional actors of this specific sector. With up to 100 exhibitors and over 1000 expected visitors, the CYCL’EAU Strasbourg aims to bring together territorial authorities, deputies, farmer companies, industrialists, development offices and even start-ups, in order that they inspire and motivate each other. The focus is therefore based on stimulate exchange, enable synergies and to initiate business meetings.

CYCL’EAU’s ambitioned aim is to open up an international accessible platform and trade fair, open for lokal and regional hot topics and problems.
